About this work

Draped evening dress of black velvet decorated with beads; gathered on the side by a 'cabochon de perles'. The other 'toilette', on a pink ground, is covered with 'dentelle guipure de Lyon' (lace) decorated with a wide ribbon and trimmed with fur. Fabrics by Jallade et Gendre. Print from the fashion magazine Très Parisien (1920-1936).
