According to the accompanying text (p. 190): Fig. 1: Straw hat, trimmed with two checkered fichus. Fichu a pointes de mantelet. Japon of white muslin. Short puffed sleeves, relevées par une triple broderie. Gloves of yellow leather (chamois on the print). Apple-green (flat) shoes (white on the print). Fig. 2: Hat decorated with taffeta ribbons. Fichu whose points are tied at the back. Short japon of blue taffeta. Short puffed sleeves. Yellow (long) gloves. Yellow (flat) shoes. The print is part of the fashion magazine Journal des Dames et des Modes, published in Frankfurt as a copy of the French edition by Pierre de la Mésangère, (1798-1848).
