About this work

Landscape with Asian and African animals. In the foreground left a man is being swallowed by a crocodile. The large snake next to it is also devouring prey. The representation shows among others a cobra, chameleon, iguana, rhinoceros, elephant, lion and lioness, hippopotamus, sloth, tiger, camel, deer and centipede. Flying fish and a flying cat in the air. In the background right a lion and an ostrich are being caught. With a legend in French and Dutch. The print is part of an album.
