About this work

The swearing of the Peace of Münster on 15 May 1648, in the great hall or Friedenssaal of the town hall in Münster. The delegates stand around a table and take the oath with raised hands. Part of the group of steel engravings after the paintings of the Historical Gallery of the Society Arti et Amicitiae.
