Woman to the left, wearing a velvet hat with a dark velvet trim. She wears a cloak with a turn-back collar, dark revers, and shoulder collar. Standing scalloped collar consisting of two layers (jabot tournant). Earrings, a reticule in hand. The print is part of the fashion magazine Journal des Dames et des Modes, published by Pierre de la Mésangère, Paris, 1797-1839.
