Woman facing left, dressed in court attire: a white court gown with a standing collar, over which she holds a purple court mantle from behind. Long white gloves, a small closed fan in the right hand. On her head a turban-like headdress with white feathers. The print is part of the fashion magazine Journal des Dames et des Modes, published by Pierre de la Mésangère, Paris, 1797-1839.
