About this work

Title page of Jacob de Gheyn's Wapenhandelinghe van Roers Musquetten ende spiessen. Passe-partout with an architectural frame on which two cherubs sit, each holding a laurel wreath. On both sides trophies of weapons and armor. Pasted into the blank printed cartouches are sheets of paper with the Dutch title, the coat of arms of the States-General, and the dedication in Latin. At the bottom the date 1607, changed with pen to 1608. Part of the illustrations in: J. de Gheyn, Wapenhandelinghe van Roers Musquetten ende spiessen, 's-Gravenhage, 1607, title page.
