A soldier, full-length, holding a spear (lance) vertically in his right hand, leaning against his right arm (no. 18), ca. 1600. Plate 18 in the instructions for handling the spear: Corte onderwysinghe op de figuerliicke afbeeldinghe, belanghende t'recht ghebruyck, van al t'ghene een Soldaet int handelen vande Spies noodich is.
