A soldier, full-length, facing right, lifting a spear (lance) horizontally above his right shoulder with both hands (no. 27), ca. 1600. Plate 27 in the instructions for handling the spear: Corte onderwysinghe op de figuerliicke afbeeldinghe, belanghende t'recht ghebruyck, van al t'ghene een Soldaet int handelen vande Spies noodich is.
