A soldier, full-length, facing right, with a musket (a specific type of firearm) resting on his left shoulder (no. 34), ca. 1600. In his left hand, besides the butt of the musket, a burning match and a fork (musket fork). This is (almost) the same position as the one shown on the second print of the series. Incorrectly numbered 2 in the bottom right, corrected with a pen to 34. Plate 34 in the instructions for handling the musket: Corte onderrechtinghe op de figuerliicke afbeeldinghe, soo veel aengaet het recht ghebruyck vant Musquet.
