About this work

The operation of the storm bridge of the Italian engineer Pompeo Targone, used in the attacks by the archducal troops on the town, February 1604. In the top left, a cartouche with an inscription in Latin. Above the print, the title with an explanation of the numbers; at the bottom, a description of the events in German. Part of the illustrations for a journal of the siege of Ostend 1601–1604.
