Confused Actionists and the Tower of Babel, 1720

Satirical print on the Shareholders and the Tower of Babel. John Law sits on the left writing out shares while wind traders indulge in cakes baked by the English. The traders get diarrhea from these cakes, using the worthless shares to wipe their behinds. In the representation many other details with Fortuna, the Dutch Maiden, Hope, etc. In the caption a verse in 4 columns in which the numbers in the representation are explained. Print in the bound first edition (304 B 10) of Het Groote Tafereel der Dwaasheid with satirical prints on the Wind Trade or Share Trading of 1720.
