About this work
Satirical print commemorating the "Lauwmaand" (Cool Month). Central image of a separate plate featuring a satyr (Tailman = John Law) courting a nymph (Pecunia), with a three-line caption. In a frame with two small figures and winter attributes, with a caption containing two verses. Print in the bound fourth edition (304 B 12) of Het Groote Tafereel der Dwaasheid with satirical prints on the Windhandel or Actiehandel of 1720.
