About this work

Title print with a central scene in which Father Time holds a mirror up to a young woman with a globe. Around this is a border with small people, animals, and scrollwork with various inscriptions, printed from a second plate. Below the plate on the sheet are 5 columns of text with a verse and a list of shares. Title page in the bound first edition (304 B 11) of Het Groote Tafereel der Dwaasheid with satirical prints on the Wind Trade or Share Trading of 1720.
