About this work

The Little Lady Patroness of the Squint-Eyed in the Opera of the Heese Concert Knights, as a Parisian beauty. Verses in German, French, and Dutch in the caption. Numbered right center: 19. Print within a decorative border, printed from a separate plate with little people. Part of the second Dutch bound edition of 1720 (and related to the Windhandel in that year) of a series of caricatures of little people, known as Het Dwergentooneel, partly copied from an older German model.
