Portrait of the Jewish little man Jacob Ries, born in Prague, attached to the imperial court in Vienna. Verses in German, French and Dutch in the caption. Numbered right center: A. II. Deel. Print within a decorative border printed from a separate plate with heads of Chinese little people and masks. Part of volume II in the second Dutch bound edition of 1720 (and related to the Windhandel of that year) of a series of caricatures of little people, known as Het Dwergentooneel, partly copied from an older German model.
