About this work
Emblem composed of a cartouche and a devil with a basket of little people on his head. In the center, a scene with Bombario, a street vendor, and a monkey. Numbered in the center right: 1. Part of the second Dutch bound edition from 1720 (and related to the Windhandel of that year) of a series of caricatures of little people, known as Het Dwergentooneel.
