About this work

Map showing the battle orders of the troops at the Battle of Oudenaarde, a victory of the Allies under the Duke of Marlborough and the Prince of Savoy over the French, 11 July 1708. Bottom right, a trophy with Fame blowing her horn with an olive branch in her right hand. At the bottom, two chained prisoners. Part of an atlas with 223 maps of countries and cities and scenes of war in Europe from the period ca. 1690-1735.
