View of the city of Baden in Switzerland where peace negotiations take place between France and the Holy Roman Empire in 1714. At the bottom on both sides of the cartouche with the title two seated female personifications of French and Austrian Fame. This print was previously published in an unknown work of 1714, the year of the peace treaty to which the title refers. Part of an atlas with 223 maps of countries and cities and scenes of war in Europe from ca. 1690-1735.
