Map of the Bay of Vigo with the naval battle in which the French and Spanish fleets were defeated by the combined Anglo-Dutch fleet on 23 October 1702, and the Silver Fleet captured. Bottom left: a cartouche with a list of ships involved in the battle, including a pilgrim to Santiago de Compostella. Top right: a list of the English and Dutch commanders of the ships. Part of an atlas with 223 maps of countries and cities and scenes of war in Europe from ca. 1690–1735.
