About this work

Satirical print on E.M. de Cock, pensionary of the States of Brabant, who was considered by many to be too favorable to the imperialists. A rooster sells chickens from a coop. On the left, a dog shows a long document to the Brabant Lion. Numbered top left: N 23. Part of the bundled collection of prints relating to the events of the Brabant Revolution and the period 1787-1790.
