A Frisian shipper and his wife coming from church with Bibles in their hands. The man also wears a stove. Part of a bound edition of the series of twenty-four plates of Dutch costumes in the Kingdom of the Netherlands at the beginning of the nineteenth century by Maaskamp, 1829.
