About this work

Historical costumed procession of the students of the University of Groningen on 25 September 1850 on the occasion of the inauguration of the new Academy building. The procession depicts the entry of Prince Maurice into Groningen on 22 June 1594. First plate with the groups numbered 1-7. Part of the series of nine sheets pasted together.
