About this work

Faience female figure, polychrome painted in the glaze. On a rectangular, yellow pedestal stands a woman with black shoes and a white skirt, the shadows of the folds of which are indicated in blue. A blue jacket is worn over the skirt, part of which is covered by a white pointed cap. The right hand holds a fold of the white bodice, while under the same arm a green cushion is carried. Under the close-fitting cap, indicated by brown lines, the hairnet is visible.
