About this work
This glass has the typical Berkemeyer shape, namely a stem with pointed prunts extending into a funnel-shaped bowl. A thin thread of glass marks the transition from stem to bowl, and the glass rests on a pincered foot-ring. Berkemeyers were the preferred vessels for drinking wine during the late 16th century.
