About this work
Tin ewer. The conical foot carries a pear-shaped body, decorated with some profiled horizontal lines. Towards the top the body flares out and has a small pouring spout. The flat lid tapers to a point and is round at the thumb rest. The thumb rest is formed by two acorns and runs via a single-toothed hinge into the handle. The lid is probably of a later date.
