About this work

Porcelain teapot. On a round profiled foot above which are relief godrons with gilded edges. The handle is in the form of a fully gilded snake, the spout ends in a partially gilded animal head and is decorated in relief with scales, painted in beet-red and gold. On the shoulder of the pot is a wreath of oak leaves with acorns painted in two shades of green, grey and brown, from both sides of which hangs a multicoloured bouquet of flowers.
