About this work

Walnut chair with turned legs and cross-stretcher, connected in houses, low backrest, made from a single piece of walnut. The seat and back are upholstered in bordeaux silk velvet, trimmed with narrow silk passementerie with loops and wider passementerie with loose fringe. The seat is padded on a linen underlayer. The rear stile between the seat and back is also upholstered in velvet.
