About this work

Bodice belonging to a gown of purple velvet. Long sleeves. Back where the center panel is decorated with passementerie applied in pink, yellow and green colours. The other two panels and side panels are of purple silk with woven velvet flower branches. The velvet front panel with attached lapels are covered with silk and also provided with passementerie, while the center front piece is made of light purple silk. Lining of cream satin.
