About this work

Stocking of plain knitted white cotton with a decorative border of vertical bands in a double helix pattern, alternating with openwork bands. Seam at the back center. Knitted-in initials: 'MTB'. Provided with a decorated scalloped upper edge, with garlands and relief between openwork bands.
