Lantern of brass with green glass

The object, mainly made of copper plate and composed of many parts, consists of a decagonal lantern with a dome in three sections, a cast and gilded knob with a ring, and twenty panes of green glass. The lantern is entirely decorated with punched ornament using stamp dies. The bottom has a decoration in three concentric fields. In the center JHS, surrounded by stylized symmetrical scrolling work with leaves, rosettes, and bunches. Next, a border with six round and slightly convex surfaces alternating with symmetrical scrolling work and a rosette or flower. The edges at the bottom and top of the ten upright sides have, at the location of the stiles, masks surrounded by symmetrical scrolling work with stylized flowers. The upright stiles have a decoration of five men's heads facing left, four of which are repeated, alternating with rosettes. The latter are also applied to the cross-stile in the center.
