About this work

Silver presentation plate, square with chamfered corners, standing on four volute-shaped feet decorated with scrolls. Profiled raised rim with at the corners and in the middle of the sides a cast ornament of a shell between scrolls. In the middle engraved the monogram RL under a princely hat. Possibly Rudolf Prince Lobkowitz (born 1840) or Rechteren Limpurg. The monogram applied ca 1850.
