About this work

Pear-shaped milk jug on three outwardly curved legs. The S-shaped handle is worked. Along the scalloped upper rim with pouring spout runs an engraved line. The milk jug is marked: maker's mark = Amsterdam, year mark = H (1742), maker = Arnoldus van Geffen, an axe, and the letter N.
