About this work
Mortar with pestle. The shape of the mortar is concave cup-shaped. In the middle of the outer wall, the mortar has an applied band. Two knobs are attached to this band. The mortar is marked: city: Amsterdam, maker: Frederik van Strant I, crowned O and a hatchet. The pestle has thickened ends and is profiled in the middle. The pestle is marked with a dolphin.
