About this work

Linen damask napkin with Philip V of Spain. Central field: mirrored image of two figures on horseback facing each other with the inscription: VIVAT ET REGNET PHILIPPO QUINTO HISPANIARUM REX as the upper inscription: 1704. Furthermore, three coats of arms, two of the Kingdom of Spain, the middle one with three lilies. At the bottom, a rider and a small silhouette of a city. Borders: stylized vine; outside, a block border. Above the city, behind the figure on horseback, a shield with a chevron and crenellated border.
