Waistcoat of cream satin embroidered with multicolour silk embroidery, with a diagonally cut front, standing collar and flaps without pockets

Vest of cream-colored satin with diagonally cut front and standing collar consisting of two parts (seam in the middle back). Sewn-on flaps without pockets. Back panel and lining of beige taffeta; satin ribbon at the waist. Fastening in the front by means of five buttons of satin with embroidered and festooned buttonholes. Under the neck, three buttons without buttonholes. Satin facing up to 19 cm below the neck on the inside and embroidered: the vest was thus open to the chest. Multicolored (ochre, red, pink, violet and three shades of green) silk embroidery (stem, satin, and buttonhole stitch). Along the edge, floral bouquets and a scalloped edge; further a scatter motif of small flowers.
