About this work
Fontange of needle and bobbin lace, consisting of two flaps, between which a connecting piece is sewn. In the center the pattern has a palmette motif and on both sides horns, feather motifs, diagonal vines and various decorative stitches attached to the ground or in drawn thread work. At both ends a vase with a bouquet has been worked, while flowers and leaves form the scalloped outline.
