About this work

Poplar wood side table with an octagonal, unadorned and unprofiled top, standing on three knee legs ending in claws. The knee legs feature a winged female figure at the knee, whose lower body ends in a volute. From beneath her wings emerges a relief-carved vine volute containing various mythical creatures. The claws end upwards with an acanthus leaf on the outside and a volute on the inside, between which is a flower.
