About this work

Four-sided vase of porcelain with sculpted corners and four claw feet resting on a basement. Painted on the glaze in blue, salmon colour and gold. On the walls, against a blue background, twice a medallion with shell forms with flowers cut out in a salmon-coloured background and twice a garland carried by (horse?) heads, above which a bird. Between these decorations vines. On the rim a band with vines and diamond motifs. The side of the basement with leafy vines against a blue background and on the top a similar decoration as on the rim against a salmon-coloured background.
