About this work
The object, which is cast in one piece, and presumably was excavated, has a round foot standing on three feet, a stem and a bowl. The stem is decorated with a motif repeated several times consisting of a spherical thickening and two ribs. It was presumably used to place an oil lamp or candlestick on.
