Payment table with corner posts above the legs scaled with coins

Oak payment table, inlaid with rosewood. The baluster legs rest on flat blocks and are connected at the level of the shelves by standing profiled rails with ebony cannelures. Below the sliding top is a beveled rail, under which is the chest section on a plinth. The long sides feature two flat cushion panels; the short side features one. The corner posts above the legs are scaled with coins. The top is mitered to frame a central field of three parts.
