About this work
Painting stands on a square plinth on her left foot with her bent right foot slightly to the side. In her left hand she carries a pot of paint, in her right a brush before her chest. A veil falls over her back. She wears a long shirt leaving her left shoulder and breast uncovered, and a cloak wrapped around her waist.
