Pipe bowl, round, with pierced wall with ovals and edged with pearl strings

The round brazier is equipped with a brass inner bowl and stands on four cast legs resting on ebony, profiled blocks. The legs are composed of three C-scrolls, of which the middle one, which widens slightly, is decorated with a border of pearls increasing in size, while the lower and upper ones widen towards a thickened, scroll-like end. The vaulted wall of the brazier rests with its straight lower edge on the four middle scrolls of the legs. The profiled upper rim is connected to the upper side of these scrolls. The lower and upper rims are decorated with a pearl border. Between them, the wall is pierced with ovals, which are connected to the upper and lower rims by small circles and to each other by smaller ovals. The middle scrolls of the legs form lips on the underside, upon which the bowl-shaped inner bowl with a flat rim rests.
