Pipe warmer, pierced at the top with floral scrolls

The round brazier has three feet on rosewood blocks and a hook-shaped rosewood stem. The cast feet are in the form of a flower branch and end in a foot. The basin has a domed bottom and a twisted, ribbed wall, composed of a convex and a concave part. The latter is openwork at the top, where it flares horizontally, with floral scrolls, which are engraved at the top. At some points engraved leaves continue onto the solid wall. Around it runs the cast, applied outer rim, composed of leaf volutes, with a flower above each rib on the wall, alternating a tulip and an open calyx surrounded by leaves. The silver connecting piece of the stem is surrounded by a profiled rim at the attachment of the wood. Originally there was a round opening in the bottom, now filled with silver, where the now missing inner basin was attached.
