About this work
The silver holder has a three-lobed base plate with a raised, openwork rim crowned with a pearl border. Two large and one small openwork rings, crowned with a pearl border, rest on four straight legs with cannelures, in which the bottles and the pepper shaker can stand. Between the large rings and the base plate the handle is mounted. On either side of the small ring are two even smaller rings with pearl border decoration for the stoppers of the bottles. The holder rests on four spherical feet and one outwardly curved foot.
