About this work
The pointed oval holder of the oil and vinegar set has a domed wall, slightly raised at the sides. It rests on four tapering, curved, ribbed feet. Above these feet and along the upper edge of the holder run fillet borders. The wall is pierced with a pattern of (partially damaged) horizontal bars between two smooth bands, above which is a pattern of pointed arches. Rounded triangular ears are cut out on the short sides.
