About this work

Cabinet of Indonesian wood, resting on a stand veneered with root nut wood. The lock plate, corner pieces, and hinges are of wrought copper. Iron handles with copper plates on the sides. Behind the two front doors are several drawers with copper pulls on star-shaped plates. The stand has splayed legs, connected by a flattened splayed X-shaped cross at the bottom, and rests on flat black balls. Usually, a sliding drawer is attached.
