About this work

Top of a folding games table with embroidery in gros- and petit-point of multicolored wool and silk. The drawing has beveled corners and shows within a frame, carved at the corners and filled with volutes and flowers, a landscape with a group of two ladies and a gentleman playing cards around a games table. On the games table a money bag, cards, and other gaming equipment.
