About this work

Table of painted walnut on four S-shaped legs placed diagonally, decorated with acanthus leaves and scrollwork and connected by stretchers. The front stretcher is partially openwork and displays a double leaf and flower festoon, with a now empty coat of arms in the center. The top of the stretchers has two turned C-volutes, beneath which are kidney-shaped openings. The side stretchers show symmetrical scrollwork, the rear stretcher is scalloped at the top and otherwise unadorned.
