About this work
Chair of mahogany, upholstered in trijp with a continuous pattern of oval pendants containing a flower on a striped ground. The square legs are fluted. The seat rail is decorated in the center with a laurel wreath and a garland. The back frame is parallelogram-shaped and hollowed. The top rail is decorated with a pierced vase and laurel garland. The upholstery is secured with nails with gilded heads. The chair belongs to a set of furniture (inv. no. BK-16145-a t/m -g).
